Hello everyone, and welcome to the special blog post where we officially launch the 3rd Annual English WTLS Awards event. This event has been held every year to honor the most significant members of our Welcome to Los Santos community. Unlike last year, a new category - Best FiveM 2 Organization of 2024 has been added, so the total number of categories are 13. I sincerely hope you enjoy this event and that as many of you as possible actively participate by both in sending nominations and in the following voting. The categories are as follows -

Categories:
1. Most Active Player of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player who you think deserves the acknowledgement for the amount of time and effort, he puts into playing in our WTLS servers. This could be a player who has played for hundreds or thousands of hours this year, or a player who has won many contests, or a player who has organized their own events throughout the year. In this category you can nominate any player who is actively playing on s2 or s3 or FiveM 2.
Prizes: 3rd place - 200 tokens, 2nd place - 400 tokens and 1st place - 600 tokens.

2. Most popular player of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player that you personally like. This could be a player you often play with on the server or a player you think has a good sense of humor. In this category you can nominate any player who is actively playing on s2 or s3 or FiveM 2.
Prizes: 3rd place - 200 tokens, 2nd place - 400 tokens and 1st place - 600 tokens.

3. Most helpful player of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player who likes to help other players. This could be a player who has personally helped you solve a problem or a player who has answered some of your questions about the game or the server. In this category you can nominate any player who is actively playing on s2 or s3 or FiveM 2.
Prizes: 3rd place - 200 tokens, 2nd place - 400 tokens and 1st place - 600 tokens.

4. Best Driver of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player who excels in his driving skills. This could be a player who always manages to outrun police officers in a police chase, or a player who frequently wins races, or a player who excels at stunt driving, drifting or piloting. In this category you can nominate any player who is actively playing on s2 or s3 or FiveM 2.
Prizes: 3rd place - 200 tokens, 2nd place - 400 tokens and 1st place - 600 tokens.

5. Biggest Skiller of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player who excels in PvP battles. This could be a player who frequently and successfully completes assassinations, or a player who frequently wins gang wars or deathmatches, or a player who is good with miniguns, micro SMGs, sawn-off shotgun or other weapons. In this category you can nominate any player who is actively playing on s2 or s3 or FiveM 2.
Prizes: 3rd place - 200 tokens, 2nd place - 400 tokens and 1st place - 600 tokens.

6. Most Creative Creator of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player who is dedicated to content creation regarding WTLS. This could be a youtuber, blogger or creator of interesting/funny screenshots. In this category you can nominate any user who is actively making content related to WTLS.
Prizes: 3rd place - 200 tokens, 2nd place - 400 tokens and 1st place - 600 tokens.

7. Best s2 player of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate a player who primarily plays s2. This should be a very active player on this server who you feel deserves recognition, for whatever reason.
Prizes: 3rd place - $10,000,000 on s2, 2nd place - $25,000,000 on s2 and 1st place - $50,000,000 on s2.

Description: In this category, nominate a player who primarily plays s3. This should be a very active player on this server who you feel deserves recognition, for whatever reason.

Description: In this category, nominate a player who primarily plays FiveM 2. This should be a very active player on this server who you feel deserves recognition, for whatever reason.
Prizes: 3rd place - $10,000,000 on s3, 2nd place - $15,000,000 on s3 and 1st place - $30,000,000 on s3.

10. Best s2 organization of 2024
Description: For example, it could be an organization that you think has a great boss, a great team, great rewards or all of these things combined. In this category you can nominate any active organization on s2.
Prizes: 3rd place - $10,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on s2, 2nd place - $25,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on s2 and 1st place - $50,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on s2.

11. Best s3 organization of 2024
Description: For example, it could be an organization that you think has a great boss, a great team, great rewards or all of these things combined. In this category you can nominate any active organization on s3.

s3 and 1st place - $50,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on s3.

12. Best FiveM 2 organization of 2024
Description: For example, it could be an organization that you think has a great boss, a great team, great rewards or all of these things combined. In this category you can nominate any active organization on FiveM 2.
Prizes: 3rd place - $10,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on FiveM 2, 2nd place - $15,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on FiveM 2 and 1st place - $30,000,000 for the CEO of that organization on FiveM 2

13. Best update of 2024
Description: In this category, nominate an update that concerns game servers or websites and was introduced in the current year. This could be a brand new feature that got you active on the server again, or a major improvement to an existing feature. Alternatively, you can also nominate a feature that was removed this year that you think is a good thing because you didn't like it for some reason.

How to submit nominations?
Each player has the opportunity to nominate one player/one organization/one update in each category. Submit nominations via the comments below this blog and always use the following template. See the "Rules" section for more information.

Rules
1. Each nomination must follow the template given above. Instead of the text "no nomination", in the 1st-9th category, please enter the web nickname of the player you want to nominate (use the tag [*user]<Web nickname of that player>[*/user], remove the *). In the 10-12th category, the name of the organization you want to nominate. And in the 13th category, a description of the update you want to nominate.

2. Each player has the right not to enter any nomination in some categories. Even the player has the right to make a nomination in only one single category. Even in such a case, he is obliged to follow the above-mentioned template and in the categories in which he does not want to enter a nomination, he should leave the original text unchanged, i.e. "no nomination".

If a player submits a nomination in six or more categories, he has the opportunity to be drawn in the competition for a voucher (more information in the Contest section).

3. Each player may nominate only one player in categories 1-9, may nominate only one organization in categories 10,11,12 and may nominate only one update in category 13.

4. A player cannot nominate himself in any category. The exception are categories 10, 11 and 12 where a player may nominate an organization in which he/she serves as CEO or regular member.

5. The 3 players with the most nominations will always advance to the finals of categories 1-9. The 3 organizations with the most nominations will always advance to the finals of categories 10,11,12. And the 3 updates with the most nominations will always advance to the finals of the 13th category.

6. In the categories, only nominate the player/organization/update that fits the description of the category. For example, in category 7, a player who does not play on s2 cannot be nominated, in category 9, a player who does not play on FiveM 2 cannot be nominated, and in category 13, an update that was not released in 2024 cannot be nominated.

Before the finals begin, the judges for each category will verify that the top three players/organizations/updates with the most nominations match the descriptions of the categories. If they do not, the non-matching nominated player will be eliminated and the next player with most nominations will advance to the finals instead. 7. A player may not nominate the same player in more than one category. For example, Carl should not nominate Pulaski in both 2nd and 5th category.

8. It is forbidden to nominate permanently banned players and players who are currently banned for 30 or more days. Players who are banned for 30 days or more during the WTLS Awards will not be eligible to advance to the finals and potentially win.

9. Bribing players or jury members in any way, setting up multi-accounts and engaging in any other fraudulent practices in order to influence the nomination process or the final vote is strictly prohibited. A player who violates this rule will be severely penalized and any fraudulently submitted nominations/votes will be removed and not counted.

10. If a player who has received a large enough number of nominations in category 4 or 5 to advance to the finals is banned for cheats before the final voting begins, that player will be disqualified and the next player with most nominations will advance to the finals instead.

11. Only comments with your nominations that follows the template and rules are allowed under this blog post. Nominations that do not follow the template and rules will be removed and will not be counted. The Jury:

The task of the jury is to continuously monitor whether all the comments with nominations are sent in accordance with the rules, and possibly remove comments posted in violation of the rules.
Second, the jury will continuously count the number of nominations for specific players/organizations/updates in individual categories and check their relevance - whether all nominees meet the rules and correspond to the descriptions of the given categories.
Furthermore, the jury will ensure that there is no bribery of players in exchange for sending a nomination or vote for a specific player, the creation of multi-accounts and other fraudulent practices in order to influence the nomination process or the final vote.
Last but not least, after announcing the winners, the jury will be tasked with sending the prizes to all those who are entitled to it.

Contest:
5 random players, who submit their nominations will win a voucher. You participate in the contest by sending a comment in which you fill in the nomination for at least 6 categories. The draw will take place on 30th December and the video of the random choosing will be posted on 31st December. After the video is released, all 5 randomly drawn players will be contacted and will be given a chance to choose whether they want a voucher of in-game money, or premium account. Players who fill out nominations in the comments for only 5 or fewer categories and players who are part of the jury will not be drawn.

Prizes: $5,000,000 in-game money or 30 days premium account(depends on what the player chooses)

13.12.2024 (23:00 GMT+1) - End of nominations.
14.12.2024 - Posting of Information blog with an overview of the Finalists and the starting of voting.

Frequently asked questions:
Can a player nominate someone who has won in previous WTLS Awards?
Yes, the player can nominate organizations or players who have already won once in the past, as long as they are active this year and continue to meet the description of the given category.

Can I nominate a member of the staff team?
Of course, you can!

Can I nominate one player in multiple categories?
No, you may not.

Can a player nominate himself in any category?
No, he can't. With the exception of 10,11,12th categories in which a player can nominate his organization or an organization of which he is a member.

Can I nominate an organization that was dissolved this year?
No, only organizations that are still operating can be nominated. In the event that a functioning organization advances to the finals, but is dissolved during the final voting, the CEO of that organization will lose the right to win.

Can I nominate a player who is currently serving a ban of 30 or more days?
No. In the event that a player who was banned for 30 or more days during the final voting advanced to the finals, that player will lose the right to win.

Can I nominate a player by writing their game username instead of their web username?
Yes, but you must enter the player's game username exactly so that it can be found what the player's name is on the website. If possible, mention web usernames in the nominations so that it is always absolutely clear which specific player it is. If you do not know the name of a player on the website, use the command "/player <id>" in the game to find out the player's web username.

How will it be resolved if there is a tie?
In the event that the third and fourth players in the ranking would both receive the same number of nominations, in that case both would advance to the finals, thus the category would be decided by voting between the four finalists. And the one who would receive the least number of votes during the voting would not be entitled to any reward. However, in the event that a situation arises during the voting where two of the three/four finalists receive the same number of votes, their rewards will then be divided equally between the two.

For example, let's say there are 3 players in the Finals, "A, B and C" and their votes are "100, 80 and 80" respectively. In this case, both the players, B and C having the same amount of votes will receive equal rewards (200 tokens + 400 tokens = 600 tokens, 600/2 = 300 tokens).

Another example, let's say there are 4 players in the Finals, "A, B, C and D" and they own organizations "W, X, Y, and Z" respectively and their votes are "80, 70, 60 and 60" respectively. In this case, players C and D will receive the same amount of rewards ($10,000,000 / 2 = $5,000,000).
