Though the 84 - 86 Fire Birds had flap up headlights, the headlights of the Phoenix is based on the 1984 - 1990 Cheve Z28 Iroc Z Camaro. The back of the Phoenix is relatively close the original 84 - 86 Fire Bird. But the tail lights are based on the 1st generation - 2nd gen Camaro. The car played in the movie Smokey and the Bandit 3.
