Some players might have noticed that SA-MP closed the official website sa-mp.com in September, which resulted in internet list in SA-MP client not working anymore.
The SA-MP servers are however unaffected, you can still connect to your favourite servers which you have added to SA-MP client manually.
But we have also a fix how to return the internet list in the SA-MP client! There is a new unofficial website sa-mp.mp which is operated by largest SA-MP servers together in close cooperation with open.mp. This page contains all what old sa-mp.com used to have, but there is also working server list and you can also download fixed SA-MP client there - version R5-MP, which brings back the internet list.
As stated above, SA-MP will continue to work as it always did, nothing significantly changes. The website sa-mp.mp replaces SA-MP and even enhances the experience.
In near future, open.mp will be launching its client. Open.mp is another multiplayer for GTA San Andreas created by former SA-MP developer Y_Less together with many SA-MP community members and SA-MP beta testers. The open.mp client will be fully compatible with SA-MP servers, so you will be able to connect to any SA-MP server using the open.mp client. Most SA-MP servers will migrate to open.mp in near future, as open.mp is actively developed and will bring regularly new updates like SA-MP always did. Players do not need to adjust whatsoever, you will still be able to connect to any open.mp or SA-MP server using the SA-MP client.
